Privacy policy

1. Controller

The studio (hereinafter: we) whose name and contact details appear in the legal notice on this page is responsible for processing your personal data. The studio uses the avoo software for bookings, memberships and payments. avoo processes the data on behalf of the studio and not for its own purposes.

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Which data is processed

  • Master data: name, email address, phone number, address and date of birth, where you provide them
  • Booking and membership data: bookings, passes, subscriptions, check-ins and cancellations
  • Payment data: the payment method you chose and the receipts. You enter card and account details with the payment provider; they are held neither by the studio nor by avoo
  • Communication data: messages and emails you send or receive through the system
  • Technical data: IP address, time and page visited when you use this website

3. What the data is used for

We process your data to perform the contract with you (membership, class attendance, payment), to meet legal obligations (for example accounting) and to run the website securely. We only tell you about the studio's offers if you have agreed.

4. Disclosure to third parties

Your data only goes to processors that are contractually bound to protect it: for hosting (Vercel, Supabase), for sending email (Resend) and, depending on how the studio is set up, for payments (Stripe, Payrexx or SumUp). Your data is not passed on for advertising. Where processing takes place abroad, it relies on suitable safeguards, for example the EU standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as the contract and statutory retention duties require. We generally keep accounting records for ten years.

6. Your rights

You can ask for information about your data, and for correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy of your data. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, write to the studio; the address is in the legal notice. You can also complain to the supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

7. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies so that you stay logged in and your bookings are saved. We only set optional analytics cookies if you agree in the cookie banner.

Cancellation & fees

Cancellations are free up to the deadline stated with each class. Cancelling later may incur a fee depending on your membership or pass: a partial Coin credit for credit passes or a flat fee for subscriptions.

The same applies to no-shows, counted from 15 minutes after the class start.
