avoo
avoo is a Payrexx partner: more choice for your payments
Payrexx joins Stripe, it does not take its place. What it costs, who it pays off for, and why both routes stay.
Two routes, and the choice is yours
avoo is a Payrexx partner. Payrexx lists us in its partner directory. Studios that want to process their online payments through Payrexx can now set this up directly in avoo.
The most important sentence first, so there is no misunderstanding: Payrexx joins Stripe, it does not replace it. Both routes stay, both are fully supported, and your studio decides. If you settle through Stripe today and want to keep it that way, you need to do nothing. If you switch, you can switch back later.
What it costs
The difference is not in the percentage, it is in the base fee. Payrexx takes considerably less per payment and charges CHF 19 a month for it, including in a month without a single sale. Stripe takes more per payment and nothing else.
| | Stripe | Payrexx | |---|---|---| | Card | 2.9 % + 30 centimes | 1.25 % + 15 centimes | | TWINT | 2.9 % + 30 centimes | 1.25 to 1.65 % | | Base fee | none | CHF 19 a month |
These figures are a snapshot from 17 August 2026. They are the Swiss terms Payrexx quoted to us; the public Payrexx pricing page lists merchant tariffs in euros and therefore shows different values.
From when it pays off
Cheaper is not true in general, it is true from a certain size. An example with 30 online payments a month:
| Online revenue a month | Stripe | Payrexx | |---|---|---| | CHF 500 | CHF 23.50 | CHF 29.75 | | CHF 1000 | CHF 38.00 | CHF 36.00 | | CHF 2000 | CHF 67.00 | CHF 48.50 | | CHF 5000 | CHF 154.00 | CHF 86.00 |
The break even point sits between roughly CHF 700 and CHF 1150 of online revenue a month, depending on how many payments there are. Below that Stripe is cheaper, above it Payrexx. If you settle many small amounts you reach the break even sooner, because the fixed fee per payment then weighs more.
Work it out with your own figures. avoo has a calculator for this: you enter your online revenue and the number of payments and see which route is cheaper for your studio. It is kept up to date when a provider changes its tariffs, which makes it more current than a table in an article.
What does not change
Nothing about running your studio. Booking, passes, the till and payouts stay the same, whichever payment route you choose. avoo takes no commission of its own on online payments, neither with Stripe nor with Payrexx: you pay the provider's fee and nothing more.
How to switch
In the back office under Settings and Payments. You need a Payrexx account, which you connect there. Bookings in progress and running subscriptions are not affected. If you are unsure which route is right for your studio, drop us a line and we will work it out with you.
