Studio software in Switzerland: what to look for

TWINT, Swiss francs, revDSG and fair pricing. The criteria that really count when you choose your software.

The software you run your studio with decides two things: how much time you lose to admin, and how easily your members book and pay. A handful of criteria make the difference.

Local payments, built in

In Switzerland members expect TWINT and prices in Swiss francs. Make sure the software does this directly and does not sell it as an expensive add-on. Anything else shows up at the till at the latest.

Data protection that holds

Servers in Europe, compliant with GDPR and the revised Swiss data protection act. Your members' data deserves protection, and if anything goes wrong it is you who answers for it. Ask specifically where the data is held.

Pricing you can plan with

No share per booking, but a fixed amount per month. Only then do you know in advance what the software costs you, even when your classes are suddenly full. Your success should not drive up your invoice.

Everything in one place

Class schedule, passes, members, website, payments, marketing. The more of this lives in one system, the less friction in daily work. Every additional tool is another place where something can jam, needs maintaining twice, or drifts apart.

And finally: try it

No list of criteria replaces trying it yourself. Good software feels familiar within a few minutes. If you need a manual to create a class, that is already the answer.
